    Description

    This listing is for a vintage Purinton Slip Ware platter in "Apple Pattern" with a blue-green edge trim.  It measures 11-7/8 inches in diameter and 7/8 inches t
    all.  This piece is a very attractive platter, bright colors and clean.  There is one repaired chip as pointed out in the second photo.
    This platter and the accompanying bowl which is for sale in another of my listings belonged to my mother. The two items were a gift to her from her sister, most likely in the 1940's.  When the set was displayed on her kitchen counter, a small object was accidentally knocked from a cupboard above and landed on the platter and bowl causing the chip.
