    Description

    Purinton Pottery Slipware Pitcher / Jug.
    Vintage Mid Century 1940s-1950s.
    Purinton Pottery in operation from 1939-1959.
    Hand painted.
    Fruit Pattern, white pitcher / jug with an apple and a pear on each side, and blue/green leaves and design.
    Ice lip.
    Approx. 7-1/2" tall x 11" handle to spout x 8-1/4" side to side.
    Chip at the base, crazing visible inside the pitcher, crazing on the outside in an area one inch from the base (underside of the widest part of the pitcher) and some discoloration in this same area, a quarter inch "dent" imperfection, please see photos.
    Pitcher has not been cleaned.
