Spectacular Original vintage brown Purinton Pottery Beer Mug in the "Intaglio" style. Has the 3 leaf design on one side of the mug, and the single leaf design on the opposite side. "Intaglio" means incising. After the item is painted, the design is incised into the color. The glaze is then applied and the item is fired in the kiln. Intaglio was introduced in 1950. Brown was the first color. Great condition with no chips or cracks. It measure 5" tall and 3-1/2" in diameter at the base. Rare and hard to find. Magnificent Purinton Pottery Intaglio Beer Mug!
