    Vintage Horse Brass Horseshead on Tartan Cloth Ribbon
    Brass Approx. 3.25" long x 2.75". Hangs 9" long. This is from my own collection of horse items. Never been used as it was always a display piece.
    A horse brass is a brass plaque used for the decoration of horse harness gear, especially for shire and parade horses. They became especially popular in England from the mid-19th century.
