Mission Statement:
To make the best, all natural, wood fired Michigan maple syrup.  All sap used in making our syrup is collected on our family's property.  This property has been in our family for nearly 100 years.  All syrup is processed in lead-free equipment and every thing used in the process is all natural.  Our facility is licensed by the State of Michigan.
History:
I can't really remember when I started making maple syrup, but it has been at least 50 years.  I can always remember my family making syrup.  As a teen we had our first evaporator and made about 100 gallons of syrup.  After a 30+ year sabbatical from syrup making, to work and raise a family, I have decided to dive back in.
The Name:
The name,
"Uncle Dunk's",
comes from a nickname that was given to me by my sister's kids, about 25 years ago.  Like many nicknames, it stuck.
