Lot of 2 postcards promoting Shocco Springs Resort & Camp near Talladega, Alabama,
    viz
    :
    1. ca. 1915-1920 illustrated postcard
card shows imprint of Brannon Printing Company in Talladega, printed by hot type letterpress
black ink on green card stock paper - unusual color paper for a postcard.
Features 2 outdoor illustrations of the resort grounds and buildings.
With a Talladega, Alabama June 12 postmark but cannot see a year, ca. 1915-1920
    Standard postcard size.
As of 12 July 2021 I couldn't find another listing for this card on ebay in either current or
    completed listings
Postally used with a Talladega postmark. Corners modestly bumped. Very good.
    PLUS
    2. Late 1930s - early 1940s (judging by the cars in the background) color, linen finish POSTALLY UNUSED postcard showing boys swimming at Shocco Springs, Talladega Alabama. Nice view of this once famed ALABAMA RESORT.
Published by E. C. Kropp in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The stock # shown on the verso is 17363N. There is a 5 line caption on the verso as well. Standard Size postcard.
    Neat Talladega memorabilia.
While postally unused, this card was glued into an album at some point so the verso shows some glue spots and some abrasions where it was later removed from said album. None of the text of the caption is missing but a few letters are abraded from the stamp box.
The recto (front of the card) is very good with nice, unfaded color.
