Supply a newly planted tree, shrub, or evergreen with the water it will need to continue its growth for the remainder of the season with the TreeGator Junior Tree Watering Bag.
This slow release tree watering bag / drip irrigator has a low profile design that allows it to fit snugly under plantings with branches at least 6" off the ground or higher. Its dual emitter system provides a continuous supply of water over a 5-8 hour time frame with 100% water absorption to eliminate water waste, while reducing the time you would typically spend watering a tree by up to 80%.
The TreeGator Jr. takes minutes to install, no stakes and no tools are required. Just place around a tree, fill with water, and you're work is done. You will need to fill the bag about 1-2 times per week, or as needed. The watering bags promote slow, deep water penetration with each fill and reduce the effects of transplant shock.
How to install: Place a TreeGator Jr. on a level surface and wrap both sides around a caliper trunk with a diameter up to 5". Open the red cap and fill with water, then place the red cap back on. The bag will take 5-8 hours to completely empty and needs to be refilled about 1-2 times per week. Do not use in temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit (4 degrees Celsius).
