The Taco 006-ZBC7-2IFC
is a cartridge style, maintenance free, circulator pump with an Integral Flow Check (IFC). It is designed for circulating hot and chilled fresh water in open and closed loop applications. With its patented location at the impeller inlet, the IFC eliminates the added installation costs of a separate in-line flow check, simplifies piping, and improves system performance. The unique, replaceable cartridge contains all moving parts and is easy to service instead of replacing the entire unit. Its self-lubricating, maintenance free design provides quiet, efficient operation and unmatched reliability.
This model features the Priority Zoning circulator with built-in transformer, relay, and priority switch to make it an ideal choice when zoning with circulators. Each zoning circulator has low and high voltage terminal strips for ease of electrical hookup, as well as a built-in priority switch. The priority switch allows the installer to choose the zone that requires the most attention and, when activated, run only that circulator. The priority zoning circulator can be used in conjunction with other circulators or zone valves. It is ideal for indirect hot water heaters, adding another zone, zoning with circulators, and for prioritizing under-sized zones.
