The RootRain Metro RR3A is a drip
irrigation kit that provides your tree's root system with a fresh supply of water it will need to continue to thrive.
This tree watering system is the United Kingdom's most popular tree pit irrigation system and is now available in North America. Intended for homeowners in residential applications, the RootRain Metro provides users with a cost effective way to water their tree's root system. It reduces the time spent watering compared to hand watering with a hose and reduces water usage by eliminating water wastage.
Capable of irrigating up to 16 US gallons, or 60 litres, per minute in porous soil, the Root Rain Metro RR3A drastically
improves
drought tolerance.
A tree stake is required (not included). Place the stake in the soil beside the tree so you can nail the metal bracket to it to prevent theft.
Installation Instructions:
The free end of the pipe should be wrapped around the root system 10" below finished level.
Pipe should be plugged into the bottom cap.
Nail the bracket to the tree stake.
The rest of the tree pit should be backfilled.
Inlet pipe and top cap should protrude between 0.4"-2" from finished surround level.
Make sure main bracket is not visible.
