Raw organic agave sugar dark 150 gr./ 6 oz.
Raw organic agave sugar is the least processed of all types of sugar made from agave.
It is actually a dehydrated variant of agave syrup.
They are obtained by removing all the water from the agave syrup.
A special process was used to blow air into the agave sugar to increase the volume and change the texture from powder to granular.
This way it stays raw, has a very nice taste, and the granular structure prevents sticking.
The temperature in the separation process never exceeds 42oC.
It is used as a sweetener instead of sugar to sweeten coffee, tea, hot drinks and pastries, etc. It has a low glycemic index (about 17) and dissolves easily.
It is great for all types of cakes and pastries and can replace sugar in all recipes.
