Purinton Pottery Esmond Revolving Cannister Complete Set Sugar Flour Tea Coffee

Offered is an Esmond Revolving Cannister Set. This iconic design was originally designed and produced by Purintan Pottery Company for Esmond Pottery. They popularized the cannister set with distinct images of fruit assigned to the Sugar, Flour, Tea and Coffee Cannisters as well as other matching kitchen pottery.
When Purintan stopped making these, Watt Pottery started making them, then McCoy, followed by others. So this is an original production set. Other than a small flake as pictured on the back facing edge of the Tea cannister bottom, the set looks terrific with bright colors and no apparent signs of use. The wood can use a light refinish as the clear seal used many years ago tends to wear off.
