Description
During the Victorian era women wore cuffs and collars to preserve the cuffs and collars of a day dress from soil and stains. Many women had quite a few pairs so they could be sure of always have a clean pressed set. The long tab is turned under the collar and cuffs of the dress, then basted on. Iron them on the dress for a flat fit.The collar measures 17 inches long, the cuffs are 7 inches long and 2 inches wide. The angle of the camera makes them look larger. These measurements do not include the tabs.
Care: Hand wash only. Starch and iron, spray starch will do. This set has a tiny lace trim on it.
