I would grade this coin as a very nice about or almost uncirculated or much better with all the details being very well preserved. The coin may have been cleaned in the past but has retonednicely since with great eye appeal. The coin is much better than the scan shows. It does have minor scratches, a few minor bag marks, a couple of minor nicks to the edge of the coin, which can be seen in the photos. The coin also has surface soiling or staining along the edge on both obverse and reverse, which can also be seen in the photos. It still has minimum wear and retains all of its details in a very well defined condition commensurate with its about uncirculated status. Please see photo for additional condition information.

    Description:
A beautiful about uncirculated or much better 1937 (1356 AH) Ten Egyptian Piaster silver coin with great eye appeal. This is the 1937 issue, which is the first issue of type and in my opinion is less common than the 1939 issues. The coin depicts the bust of the deposed King Farouk the first, wearing a fez, facing left. The coin is labeled (al-Mamlakah al-Mesryah) Kingdom of Egypt. It is KM-367 and weighs 14 grams of 0.833 silver. It measures approximately 33 mm in diameter. The coin has a grooved reeded edge, which is very uncommon and I have only seen on this particular series of Egyptian coins. This makes these coins very difficult to counterfeit. Please carefully review the photos as they are part and parcel of our description.
