A beautiful about uncirculated or better coin from Egypt. This is the one year type 1357 AH or 1938 AD half millieme (one twentieth of a Piaster or Qirsh) bronze coin. The coin depicts the uniformed bust of the young king Farouk the first facing left and wearing a fez on the obverse. The reverse has the denomination, the AH and the AD dates and saying "al-mamlakah al masryah" or the Egyptian Kingdom. The coin has a nice chocolate brown toning and great eye appeal, it is much better than the photos suggests. This is KM# 357 weighing 3.3 grams and measuring 20 millimeters. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

The coin has minimum wear to the high spots, a few minor scratches and some bag mark. The reverse has spotty toning and several stains, which can be seen plainly in the scan. However, these issues do not distract from the beauty or quality of the coin. It is much better than the scan shows. Please see photos for additional condition information.
