I had a series 3 and bought recently a series 8 and I was glad that they take the same cartridge. I had once tried a no name brand and they didn't fit right and were very hard to take out, just get the real deal for your shaver. Would recommend.
One will need an electric shaver cleaner (Braun) to use this product as I have used it. Cleans the shaver head of hair residue and disinfects/lubricates the shaver head all in one operation. During warm weather, expect to change out the cleaning product's cartridge about every two weeks, because the alcohol evaporates quicker in warm weather.
