American Flyer from 1953 only. Very nice & fully intact, no rust. Patina & lettering nice and bright. Cleaned and ready to go. Has a few small marks but overall looks nice and clean. Getting hard to find in this nice condition. Reduced shipping cost for multiple items. Outside continental US, buyer pays actual postage.
These 100 series American Flyer buildings were only made in 1953 until the factory burned. They are very fragile and not that many have survived, especially in this nice, all original and complete condition. The 168 hotel is especially rare. Very few seem to turn up.  It is probably the rarest of all of the great American Flyer buildings. This one is very nice, bu t it does have a few slight marks and a little sloppy factory glue work.  Otherwise, it is nice and clean. Overall, nice patina and condition and all complete. It is hard to find these all complete like this one.  They are usually missing some porch posts or windows.  This is a nice and rare example of the American Flyer Hotel. These buildings were never reproduced by Lionel as were almost all of the other American Flyer accessories and they probably never will be reproduced, as they were made out of masonite and bakelite. Thus, the prices of the original buildings have continued to go up and up, as shown by the most recent price guides.
