Original Mini-Craft 1000 version from 1952 only. Close to perfect, all original & fully intact, no rust. Patina & lettering very nice and bright. Cleaned and ready to go. Has a few slight marks on the roof sign, but otherwise looks new. Very hard to find in this top condition. Very high collector quality. Reduced shipping cost for multiple items. Outside continental US, buyer pays actual postage.
This is a fine example of the Mini-Craft 1000 Diner. This is the 1952 version with the 2-part windows and door. The patina is bright and shiny and looks like it was made yesterday, not almost 70 years ago. The paint is very bright, clean and vibrant. One of the nicest we have ever seen. These are especially hard to find all intact (all parts) and all original. It does have some rubs on the small roof sign and a little sloppy factory glue work, but overall it is looks new. The differences between this and the American Flyer 275, Eureka diner are that the Mini-Craft one has a roof that lifts off and shows the cool total interior of the diner: counters, barrels, seating, counter men, customers, Blue Plate Special signs lots of glasses and lighting inside and out. It also has the much brighter red 4 part roof instead of the dull bakelite AF building. And it is much more elaborate and interesting. And much rarer as it was the most expensive building offered by Mini-Craft. A nice and rare addition to any collection. Please see photos to confirm condition.
